Arsenal wonderkid added to FIFA 21 in latest database update

One of Arsenal’s most promising young players has been added to FIFA 21 in the latest update, with a talented midfielder added to the club’s virtual squad.

18-year-old midfielder Miguel Azeez is now on FIFA 21 after EA SPORTS released their latest player database update, which is available to download now on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, as it went live on January 6, 2021.

Azeez is a talented central midfielder who has been a regular for the Gunners’ Under-23 side despite his tender years and has already made an appearance for the first team this season, with the youngster coming off the bench in the Europa League win against Dundalk FC earlier this season.

The midfielder has also been training with the first team squad in recent days, with Azeez pictured amongst Mikel Arteta’s squad ahead of their upcoming FA Cup clash against Newcastle United on Saturday.

So, how does Azeez rate on FIFA 21?

Age: 17 (when you start a new career mode save)

Positions: CM

Overall ability: 60/100

Potential ability: 77/100

Nationality: English

Best attributes: Long passing (70), short passing (67), shot power (65), balance (64), dribbling (64), ball control (62), acceleration (62)

Azeez has been given an overall ability of 60 out of 100 on FIFA 21, which puts him around the same level as fellow youngster Folarin Balogun (62) and Matt Macey (65).

However, the likes of Emile Smith-Rowe (69) and Bukayo Saka (76) are rated much more highly, but you’d expect that due to the midfielder being a few years younger.

The 18-year-old has been given a potential ability of 77 out of 100, which means EA SPORTS believe Azeez can become as good as Mohamed Elneny and better than Bukayo Saka, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Rob Holding.

Even in the virtual world, Azeez is an exciting talent.
