BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (CMC) – A group of journalists from six Caribbean countries are currently on a “fact finding” mission to Venezuela.

They departed for Caracas on Thursday and will remain for two days.

The mission is intended to help the media workers ascertain the facts regarding the current Venezuela crisis.

They were also expected to cover yesterday’s board meeting of the Bank of ALBA to be held in Caracas.

The journalists are from St Lucia, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Kitts & Nevis and Trinidad & Tobago .

The tour was organised by the Venezuelan embassy in the sub-region.
