A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to assist with the medical expenses of Jamaican Olympian and National Record Holder Kemoy Campbell.

2. Guyana denies shipping ‘bad’ rice to Jamaica

Guyana says it has not shipped any rice to Jamaica under the “Cinderella” brand for the year after media reports in Kingston said that 70 metric tonnes of White Cinderella rice, had been confiscated by Jamaican authorities.

Government Senator, Kerensia Morrison, has called on all Jamaicans to create safe spaces for children, in light of the recent incidents that have resulted in the loss of children’s lives.

8. Curfew in Central Village, St Catherine extended

The curfew that was imposed in sections of Central Village in the St Catherine South Police Division on Saturday has been extended.

9.Jamaica looking to increase participants under US hospitality programme

Representatives from the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and their United States (US) counterparts are in discussion to increase the number of participants under the overseas hospitality programme.

10. England thrash West Indies to claim consolation win

England wrapped up a dominant 232-run victory over the West Indies in the third and final Test in St Lucia on Tuesday to secure a consolation win after successive defeats.
