KINGSTON,Jamaica — Despite losing two second-innings wickets, Jamaica Scorpions tightened their grip in the day/night regional first-class match against Windward Islands Volcanoes at Sabina Park on Saturday.

At the supper interval on the second day of the four-day contest, the Scorpions were 32-2, a lead of 129 runs after dismissing the Volcanoes for 113. 

 

The Scorpions had previously been bowled out for 210 in the first innings.

 

Scores: Scorpions 210 (77.1 overs) & 32-2 (15 overs); Volcanoes 113 (48.5 overs)

 

The not out batsmen for the Scorpions are Jermaine Backwood (14), and Assad Fudadin (zero).
